Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

My family and I loved this place! We were visiting the area and with a child with egg and wheat allergies, but loves pizza...it hit all the right spots! Great service as well!!!

I can't believe I am re-writing this review the way it's about to go. My last experience with them was unpleasant to say the least being hung up on by lazy employees who didn't want to take an order near closing time. About a week later the owner Steve gave me a call on my personal number by finding my phone number in his stores Caller ID. Not really sure how I felt about that but whatever, it was with good intentions. After speaking with Steve for several minutes he told me that if I would accept it, he would love to send me another pizza. I took him up on that last night. The very polite girl who took my order asked for my address, I gave her my address, and my pizza was delivered to an indoor soccer field I ordered to the last time. My friends were made to pay for the remainder of the bill since I wasn't even at this soccer place. Good pizza, nice staff, poor management skills or really bad luck. Ordering pizza shouldn't be this tough.

I'm a total square when it comes to my pizzas, but my love affair for it is strong. The concept in which pizza can be indulged with wholesome, organic ingredients had me perk up like a meerkat, even though having the knowledge of whether the food we eat is "real" or not shouldn't be a concept to begin with. But that's a social activist, hippie hooplah that I won't get into. I came in on a empty stomach alittle before 1pm, so I wanted to take advantage of trying an appetizer first. They all sounded appealing, in which I choice zucchini alforno. They are small zucchinis sliced open w/ a vegetable and walnut stuffing nestled in the concave center. It was presented nicely, piping hot, flavorful, devoured it in a matter of minutes. I then opted for the personal size 4 cheese and sun dried tomato pizza. You have the option of whole grain, gluten-free, or original crust, in which I choice original. It didn't have that wow factor I expected but it was satisfying. Those that say it taste like cardboard are just plain silly. My server Gaby was nice and attentive, but I can't help but to find it a bit obnoxious and unprofessional overhearing her conversation with the manager about who they were romantically interested in (it was empty and I was close to the counter/kitchen). I wanted to try one of their desserts, on the lighter side, so I tried their gelato. I asked what flavors they had (not stated on the menu) and they only had one? vanilla? *confused face*; strange. But it was very good, I could feel the texture of the vanilla bean specks. The reason for the stars falling short has come down to the pricing and a message I read presented on each table (in which I regret not taking a picture), but I remember the gist of it...."we strive for organic, fresh ingredients when making our dishes and for whatever reason we cannot obtain these, we turn to local sources that can bring us to the closest thing possible." Honesty is the best policy, but that message was just plain bizarre. They basically admit that not EVERYTHING is organic. As for the pricing, $22, not including tip, is fair for a 3 course meal and a soda. But the appetizer itself was very small for $7 and the personal size pizza was a bit over priced, especially for no meat in any of the dishes. Overall, without hesitation I plan on returning and trying one of their sandwiches and something off each category again.

EH. Use to love coming here, don't know if they got a new pizza person but I just picked up an order not too long ago of the vegan pizza and order of garlic bread... HORRIBLE bland, cold, the marinara sauce with the bread was still ice cold from their fridge. It was such a bad flavor, taste and experience I'm sad to say I am not going to be a returning customer. Not to mention this place isn't cheap! I am vegan so I have my spots I go to that are vegan friendly... Pizza Fusion is losing me as a customer I just can't afford to pay top dollar for crappy cold bland vegan pizza.

"Holy moly. This guy was so nice" my husband says after returning from picking up lunch at pizza fusion. I'm still shaking my head. It's like he really cared. They forgot to give me one of my ginger ales, but this guy was so freaking nice that I feel bad asking for it. But we're going back for it anyway. This place is awesome.

Really enjoyed the food here, they have tons of options for vegans and vegetarians which is super important to people like myself. Now they did mess up my pizza but it wasn't anything huge and the service seemed short handed in every aspect ( I had to get my own silverware and walk up to the counter for a refill, saw the dude eating food behind the pizza station) but these are all minor things that really don't matter when it comes down to if the food was good or not. Expensive but good.

Great food. Great service. Had stuffed mushrooms and the meatball slider plus the house salad. Yum. We also had the traditional pizza and one gluten free personal pizza with mushrooms, basil and sausage. Check out the pics. Great gluten free plus a brownie! Our server, Shannon, was the BEST, SWEET, HARDWORKING. VERY NICE. This is truly a find!!! The entire crew work very well together to make this place a "hit".

This is my favorite pizza place since I'm vegan there isn't many options to get pizza from and I love their gluten free pizza with follow your heart vegan cheese, I added many veggies its especially good with garlic eggplant and artichokes. I wish they never closed the Aventura location I'm so close by there so Fort Lauderdale is far for me to go, hopefully they'll consider expanding more south soon.

Pizza Fusion is by far the best fresh*quality* ingredients pizza in the area! I have tried more than half of their pizzas and not one has disappointed me. When we first moved to SoFL we found this lovely little pizza joint as it is only a few blocks from our place. I don't want to say after two visits we developed an addiction but we were coming here every Sunday- no exceptions! I will say we have always just ordered their pizzas with maybe a vegan brownie or two thrown in but while dining in you get to see their other great looking dishes! We just can't get away from their pizzas :) The customer service is outstanding and the utmost friendly! We have never had a bad experience or unfriendly server; nothing but smiles when you are there which is very nice considering good service is sometimes hard to find. They offer craft beer and a good assortment of wine. Carry out and delivery are also offered! If you are dining in then you have table service. Our most recent pizza from them was delivery, with this being our first delivery order we didn't know what to expect but honestly this was the easiest transaction I have made in quite a long time. Very fast and efficient ordering over the phone and the pizza arrived piping hot and within the time frame expected. This time we thought we would go XL and get their XL 18 piece pizza split between BBQ Chicken and Founders! All of their ingredients are extremely "fresh, organic, and earth friendly!" They will allow you to sub ingredients that you don't want for ones that you would prefer with no extra charge and you can make any other kind of changes to your pizza or create you own! Their online ordering was simple and easy to use but since we were splitting the pizza I called in since there wasn't an option to do it online; which turned out to be an even easier experience! I do have to stress that their customer service is just amazing! I am always so impressed! As for other pizzas we have tried and loved: ~Very Vegan ~Farmers Market ~Sausage & TriColor Peppers ~Spinach & Artichoke ~Big Kahuna ~Pear & Gorgonzola ~Greek I would recommend all of their pizzas! Try it out for yourself! They have week night specials that vary from take out to dine in. When we were on a kick it was sadly all before I found the amazing Yelp but if you would like to view more pictures of the above pizzas visit my foodspotting page ( foodspotting.com/350968-… ) and you can search Pizza Fusion! ~Enjoy!

A pizza place you can really feel good about during and after your visit? Absolutely! The pizza is flatbread style, don't expect a NY slice here. Everything is organic and they offer several vegan/vegetarian options and yes, plenty of meat options as well. Most of their business seems to be delivery (by hybrids of course) or takeout, but they also have table service inside. I don't recommend their plain pizzas, mix it up with some toppings. My favorite is the spinach artichoke on a multigrain crust. Their salads are also really good. Had the roasted beet salad (with arugula, feta, candied walnuts) last visit and we fought over the last beet. The table next to us got the flatbread trio and looked amazing, need to try it soon. Overall, Pizza Fusion is health conscious, clean, and tasty! Prices are a little higher than you are used to, but fair considering the quality of food. Service is also very attentive as well, which goes a long way in my book.

Pizza fusion is the best pizza I have had in Florida since I met the great champ Mohammed Ali at the Diplomat Hotel in 1982! After a long day of sun and fun my family went because they have gluten free pizza. I wasn't expecting much but when I walked in I knew I was in a place that was going to provide on all levels. One can feel a sense of unique difference from the rest of pizza-land all around the area. We were seated promptly by Dominique our waitress. Dominique was friendly, informative and helpful. She explained the menu options and their take on great healthy ingredients and food. She is attentive and fun. As it turns out the owner is from Jersey! Can I get a woot woot? My wife ordered a GF pie large with red onions and black olives. I ordered a large traditional cheese with sausage. The rectangular pies are of the super thin style served hot and crispy. My pie had a good balance of meat and cheese. The sauce is delicate and I know over saucing can sabotage a crispy thin crust, but it packed great flavor and the crust was perfect. I tried a slice of the GF and have to say GFers won't miss a thing coming here. Crispy and delicious as a regular pie minus the obvious chewy gluten. I ended up eating the rest of her's (and mine) the next day. The large pie has 8 thin slices so typically I could finish the whole pie being so thin. But it made a great late morning snack cold, right out of the fridge. They have a variety of other menu items. The appetizers all sounded great as do the selection of sandwiches and salads. I like that they don't have big name brand sodas! They serve all-natural and organic soft drinks which tasted better and didn't make me feel like I was getting diabetes. They also have gluten free wings and brownies and that is a plus for the GF crowd. So when we are back in town we plan on coming back here. And we will definitely check out their NJ location.

I called ahead and ordered a personal sausage wheat crust pizza. It was ready within 15 minutes. It is quite small for the $9 price. It has very thin crust and quality cheese and sausage toppings. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant is very clean. It has about 6 tables. They have waitress service, delivery, or carryout. There is plenty of free parking in the parking lot attached to restaurant. All ingredients are said to be organic and/or gluten free. I liked that you had a choice of white or wheat crust. Overall, the pizza had good flavor, but for the price I can dine elsewhere and get more for the money.

As far as gluten free pizza goes, this place is pretty amazing. The prices for gluten free are mildly disappointing (an extra $3 for small, $4 for large, and $5 for extra large on top of their normal prices which are between 6-10 for a personal 14-18, for a large, and 20+ for extra large ). Definitely put a damper on finding it. The pizza choices are wonderful, and they are very helpful if you have any questions. They have daily dinner deals if you spend over $24 depending on the night. Tuesday nights are free large cheese pizza with purchase of $24 or more, and Fridays are 2 free glasses of wine. The cheese blend on the pizza reminds me of Papa John's in a good way! The vegetables are fresh and they have many gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options in addition to the carnivorous choices. Definitely a good place for take out or a casual family dinner out.

We ate here a year ago and it was great. The food was fresh and delicious. Today I am cooped up with a cold and thought delivery would be a great idea. Online ordering was a piece of cake and the order was at my door in less time than expected. And, the delivery guy was polite and personable. But, my food arrived cold. I ordered a calzone - the bread was chewy and a bit rubbery. Putting it in the microwave would have made it more so. The accompanying sauce was right out of the fridge. Cold sauce on a cold calzone? Yuck. Since I only live 2 blocks away, there's no way my calzone was cooked after I placed my order. It had to have been sitting since lunch. Very disappointed. Not likely to recommend or try again.

OMG! I wasn't in a pizza mood when my husband and I decided to go here. We went in and the place was really cozy and staff very kind. So we decided to go for it! We ordered a stuffed mushrooms as appetizer and then one large pizza, half of it 4 cheeses and the other half classic pepperoni. After the mushrooms, we were in heaven and after the pizza we were extremely happy that we found this place. Also we loved the concept of the store and how fresh everything was!!! It's my favorite pizza place now!!! :) Please go and try it! You won't regret it!

Very damn good pizza! Don't be scared about organic. Fresh ingredients! I think would be classified as fast causal. This is really really good pizza. Surprising because in a strip shopping center, but don't let that fool you.

Wow! It isn't easy eating vegan in Fort Lauderdale. Thanks Pizza Fusion!! The pizza was awesome, vegetables perfectly cooked on top of the crisp crust, nothing mushy, everything fresh. And, the service was truly spectacular. Ask any details you like about food allergies and sensitivities, they will tell you everything. Can't recommend it enough, especially for vegan eaters; daiya available, no worries.

Lactose intolerant diners, rejoice in pizza at last! Fresh organic ingredients; 2 types of soy cheese in addition to milk cheeses; optional multi-grain & gluten-free crusts available; scrumptious toppings. Craft beers, higher-quality teas & sodas. Ample parking, excellent service. Emphasize your desire for a generous amount of cheese (to play it safe).

By far one of the best pizza places in So Flo. They cater to every dietary need (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or extra meat, etc.). They even make sure and ask you if everything is fine and if not they fix it. The waitresses are very nice and remember your name every time you go back even for pick-up. Ingredients are fresh and yummy! Have a great organic wine selection, can't wait to go back. Food can be a bit pricey but you pay for what you get.

I'm always skeptical about trying new places, especially if the "feel" is almost fast food-like. The service started out with something in the beer glass, and our waitress brought us another beer when we said we wanted to order a bottle instead of draft. But whatever, she said she was tired at the beginning and who knows how that "thing" could've gotten in the glass. She was also very, very accomodating and nice, and didn't make us feel like we were annoying customers (because we can tend to be like old farts asking detailed questions about where was the dressing made, or don't you have any non-organic wines? he he) And there was also some food dried on my fork & little things like that turn me away from an establishment, but again things like that can happen I guess. Now to the good stuff: food! We ordered a "full" sized salad and it was big enough for both of us to share. It was just typical iceberg lettuce, arugula, tomato, and cucumber. It was, however, very fresh and delicious and the caesar dressing (which they don't make in house) was very good. The arugla addition definitely was a great addition along with a slight dust of ground pepper. I really enjoyed the pizza. We ordered the Farmers Market which consists of zucchini, artichoke hearts, and other goodies you can see on their menu online. We both noticed the sauce was a tad bit sweeter than we've had at other pizza joints, but I still liked it. The pizza is a bit pricey, $17, but we had a 15% off coupon so that helped. Background info: it seemed like one guy was training almost everyone working there that night because he was pulling a "chef-Ramsey" act if you know what I mean. It was actually amusing, but he wasn't being a huge jerk, just trying to get the job done. It got busier with people coming in to dine and order out along with phone deliveries so obviously this place is good. Would def go back, but probably on a night where we could get free drinks or take advantage of their other specials to offset the higher priced pizza.

I had a gluten free pizza that was the best pizza I have had since I became gluten free. It was not heavenly, but it was good enough. It did not make me want to cry all over it like most gluten free pizza does. I wish that there was a Pizza Fusion near me, and I heard that there is one in NJ and I will try to make it over there when I get the jones for pizza. The girl who waited on us- Domenique, was super freindly and sweet. We had our three year old with us and she enjoyed the pizza aloso- both kids- gf and regular. We each had the 10 slice pizza. We were hungry wanted some pizza to have as snacks the next day. THE DIRECTIONS FOR THIS PLACE IN YELP?GOOGLE MAPS ARE WRONG. Call the place and ask for directions or their correct address. We got lost and ended up at a smoothie king where the staff has to turn away at least 10 people a day looking for Pizza Fusion. Totally worth going to even after all that getting lost. They had good sodas and gluten free desserts. I had so much pizza I did not even get dessert, but I wanted to.

This is one pizza place that I immediately became a fan of and have no problem awarding it my Four Stars. I only stumbled in here because a neighboring restaurant happened to be closed, a fact that initially made me unhappy, but since it gave me the opportunity to try Pizza Fusion I happen to be happy that the other restaurant was closed. I initially thought that Pizza Fusion would be a sterile sort of place just as are most chain operations, but it wasn't. It had a nice simple laid back warmth about it, kind of like you might expect in a community coffee house. Better yet, its servings are actually health oriented. They claim to be doing business with a priority to the health of their customers and the environment, and after dinning here, I believe them. What you order is free of artificial additives, preservatives, growth hormones, pesticides, nitrates and trans fats and you can choose you crust in "Original Organic, Multi-grain or Gluten-free" in personal and large sizes. I went for the eggplant & mozzarella with a multi-grain crust which I found to be stunningly delicious. It was a thin crust topped off with totally fresh top of line deliciously tasty ingredients. They also have a decent beer selection with helpful, friendly service that sort of exudes a neighborhood feel which is something that again, like its wholesome thin crusted pizzas clearly separates it from other pizza chain competitors.

Just received my first and last order with Pizza Fusion. The personal size is not worth the money - more than half of the pizza had to be thrown out as it was inedible. Tomato and mozzarella toppings were sparse, and don't bother with sausage the crumbles were so hard and tiny you couldn't even taste. The only saving grace was the amount of basil and black olives. For $14 this MAYBE qualifies as a flat bread - but even flat breads have more to them. Really disappointed.

I always find difficulty in rating a pizza restaurant, given that I'm not inherently a fan of the pie. But when on vacation, and with a large group of people, the least you could do is succumb to a suggested menu with the words "gluten free" on it. I really enjoyed the salad pre-meal, but my (pear and gorgonzola) pizza (I think there were walnuts on it too) was not really heavy on ANY ingredients. Where's the mounds of pungent cheese? Where's the flavorful garlic? I was basically drenching the crust in olive oil to make it palatable because there was a serious lapse in putting toppings on the pizza. Look, I know that GF pizza crust is difficult, but even I can do better at home -- and if you're a restaurant devoted to pizza, and advertise a GF item, you need to DO BETTER. Especially when it's a gluten-free, no tomato sauce pizza: Flavor and incorporation of toppings is crucial. No reservations are taken, and this location is REALLY not good for larger groups. The server was also a mess (albeit, incredibly nice); we waited WAY too long for beverages, when late-comers to the table were getting appetizers (we just asked for water!). And then she didn't want to pour water anymore, so she started handing out bottled water. Also, several specialty sodas were listed on the menu, but they were out. She stacked dirty plates on a pass-through to the kitchen that also contained fresh waters and menus and (clean?) plates. Gave me the EEEKs. Two MEHs.

Great pizza, just stay away from the sandwiches. Made the mistake of trying something different and wasn't happy. I got the caprese sandwich and my husband had the Tuscan steak sandwich. The sandwiches were dry and just had a lack of flavor. Next time I will stick to the pizza for sure!!!

Love Pizza Fusion! This is the perfect place if you find yourself with a diverse group. There's something for vegetarians, meat eaters, gluten free, dairy free, etc. I'm pretty sure they have something for every dietary restriction imaginable! Additionally, the pizza is delicious. I prefer the multigrain crust but have tried a few different kinds of pizza and toppings without any disappointment. There are fresh and yummy salads as well as local craft beer and wine on the menu. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Ordered for the first time in years. Took almost hour and a half to get delivered and was barely "Luke warm" when it got here. 6pm on a Sunday should not take over an hour to be delivered 2 miles away. Disappointing for a $25 pizza with a $3 delivery charge.

This place reminds me of a really good pizza place that I ate at once in Washington DC. The pizza isn't round, its rectangular, just like on Civittavechia, Italy. Its all organic, the food is great, vegan and vegetarian options as well. I ordered half greek (olives and feta cheese) and half farmer's market (vegetables), it was amazing. Esp the farmer's market. I went with my wife, and three 16-year olds, and they devoured their slices. The pizza is filling too, so it only took about two small slices to feel full. Give it a try. The prices are reasonable; its not going to be $2 like the slices at the beach, but I think its worth the price. This spot in particular is pretty small on the inside, but even if you take some home, its really good.

Great beet salad, went there specifically because I wanted a gluten free pizza. It was above average in taste- (nothing beats D'avola in Sonoma)- which set the bar high for gluten free pizza. I did like Fusion's commitment to the organic concept, for a chain they are pretty darn good.... Finally, though a bit aloof, staff was nice.

Yummy gluten free, soy cheese, sundries tomato, artichoke, kalamata olives and just a sprinkle of garlic salt...Super Delicious and light. Feel good after!

We ordered the eggplant pizza. It looked like they had diced up one slice of eggplant and distributed it over an entire medium sized pie, then baked it until it was dry and sad. There were about 3-4 tiny little cubes of dried up eggplant on each slice, and the sauce was applied as if it were for adhesive purposes only. This all added up to a sad and disappointing pizza experience. When I mentioned the lack of eggplant to the counter girl, she said, "That's how people like it." Well, counter girl, that's not how *I* like it. Look, I get it. Organic food is expensive. Pizza Fusion is trying to deliver a costly commodity at a competitive price, and they're doing it at the expense of the customer. I, personally, would advise people to seek out more a more pleasurable organic experience elsewhere (preferably in your own kitchen). But if this franchise has anything going for it, it's beautiful art direction; their menu does an amazing job at roping in people like myself.

This place is fantastic. Everything is awesomely fresh. Two of our kids are gluten free and their pizzas were terrific. We were only in town for a few days and came here twice. Highly recommended!

The pizza is alway amazing here. Super fresh, healthy, and great quality ingredients. My bf loves the bbq chicken pizza with goat cheese. If your looking for pizza with all the same great taste and satisfying crust and with all the cheese and topping you can want then this is the place! Whats better about pizza fusion is that you dont have to feel too bad because of the high quality ingredients.

It was just all right. Wanted pizza, was gonna be out in Fort Lauderdale...googled and Pizza Fusion came up. I've always wanted to try it, but it's pretty far away from me. I read the reviews (thanks to the yelper who gave the local dines tip...that was brilliant!), bought the certificate, and headed out. We ordered a small cheese on multi grain crust ($6) and a medium size eggplant and mozz on multi grain crust for $18. We also ordered an organic soda $2. Everything was decent, but I didn't feel uber clean (clean eating) nor did I walk away with an OMG feeling. If you are gluten free and jonesing for some pizza, then heck ya. I like to eat on the healthier side, but the price and so so nes won't really have me coming back regularly. I think I would opt to go to Big Louie's across the street. Very friendly waitress though!

Good food but when Juan is there, the food is great! The man is talented at cooking a pizza. Not only that, he is extremely knowledgeable on the product (I like to ask lots of questions on the origins of my food--when I ask other employees certain questions, they did not know some answers. Juan was very educated on the product!) Keep up the good work, guys!

Bought a Groupon to try the place. Not my kind of pizza or iced tea. Ordered the eggplant mozzarella pizza. They sprinkled dried out eggplant and then added red knions and cheese. Very scarce on the toppings. I did not enjoy the dough. Sorry guys. Service great but not my kinda food Way too pricey for what you get

This is a great spot for really delicious pizza. The ingredients are always fresh and organic which is a nice change from a typical pizza joint. I recommend the original pepperoni. It has excellent flavor and just the right amount of kick from the pepperoni. The cheese is gooey, but not overwhelming, and the sauce is very well seasoned. The crust is thin and not too crispy. I also like to order the half beet and feta salad. It is very flavorful with balsamic dressing. Salad and a few slices of pizza are a great dinner. I've had the vegan brownie here before and it is pretty amazing. If you can't fit another bite, grab one to take home. This place regularly has coupons in the neighborhood coupon books that come in the mail and you can get a $25 voucher for 12.50 (or sometimes less) on localdines.com . Don't be deceived, this location is usually not crowded if you want to eat in. That doesn't mean it isn't great. They do a ton of take out and delivery business.

Excellent pizza! This is probably the best pizza I have ever had! I recently ordered an extra large whole wheat pizza with tomato and basil sauce, roasted portabella mushrooms, & roasted tri-color peppers. It was amazeballs! The crust is thin and soft and the slices melt in your mouth. I like how the pie is rectangular and the slices are square. This pizza is unique and delicious. I highly recommend this place to all pizza connoisseurs.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale, and all the ingredients are organic. Are you kidding me? It's a little pricey, but it's totally worth it. If you're craving pizza, do your body a favor and order from here. They also deliver! Every time I have went in here I have had a different staff member helping me and they have all been so nice and helpful.

Great gluten free pizza! Possibly the best I have had, I couldn't tell it was GF. The pizza was delivered to our table in under 10 minutes from ordering. Try the spinach artichoke, it's great. The crust was a little on the hard side.

Try the founders pie. Also, this is one of the few locations outside of Vannucchi Brothers in Hollywood that offers vegan, and fresh, natural options for pizza. The portions are great and the offering of non conventional sodas compared to the typical coke and pepsi options is a delight. If you enjoy organic veggies, vegan cheese and good prices, check out pizza fusion.

I've been to this restaurant a few times over the years - both in the Ft. Lauderdale location and in the now defunct Palm Beach Gardens location. While it is nice that there is somewhere to pick up a vegan pizza, they are just not amazing. Especially when compared to a vegan pie from Mellow Mushroom - maybe going to the Shroom is what ruined this chain for me. They are definitely too prize-y for what you get. Not only are the pizzas small, but they are also stingy on the toppings, especially with things like basil and spinach (a few crispy leaves here and there) - and honestly the quality is just not there, especially when they skim on the cheese and you are left with a lot of thin cheeseless crust. I think next time I'll just pick up some Dayia and pita bread and do pizza night at home.

Stopped in earlier today for lunch with a friend. I'm vegan, yet he's not, so it was nice for them to have accommodated both of our diets into consideration when we ordered a large pizza to share. Half and half, and it was delicious! Not to mention, the staff was very friendly, and knew their stuff when I asked for recommendations. Also, the ambiance and decor complimented our experience when dining in.

The name along caught my eye after a random search for pizza parlors in the area. As soon as you walk in, you can already tell that it's not the average pizza place. They're very health-oriented and strive to be environmentally-friendly. Great decor too. They even offer wine. I ordered the $10 bruschetta (freshly chopped tomatoes, red onions, basil, balsamic vinegar, and roasted garlic with mozzarella, provolone and parmesan) personal pizza pie on multi-grain bread. The all-natural gelato which we sampled was vanilla bean flavored and very delicious. Ultimately, I decided to order the $6 chocolate hazelnut crostata (hazelnut spread, toasted walnuts, warm hazelnuts, and powdered sugar). Shannon was a great waitress. I enjoyed my meal and dessert. This is definitely my new pizza place whenever I'm in town. Absolutely wonderful experience, no complaints.

Great food, great service-very nice selection of beers. We ordered flatbread antipasto and the farmers market pizza. All of the vegetables were fresh, flavorful and nicely presented on the plates. The pizza was especially good and the sauce had just a hint of sweetness to it. Finished it off with a vegan brownie to go, which was also delicious! A really great place for a quick, healthy alternative to fast food.

wow....this is the best pizza we have experienced since going plant friendly almost 23 months ago! There is a little oil in the gluten free dough..but man oh man...this place hits a home run! Juan, one of the operating partners is suoer cheerful and helpful and just full of energy. I love whne someone is this excited about what they do, 3 years into it! We had the Very Vegan with mushrooms and garlic...it was outstanding. You should stop here to see what to compare the rest to...This place set the bar for us.....oh and the vegan brownie was pretty decent...we spent $25 for 2.

Everything is super fresh, fast and yummy. I'm partial to the cheese a d sundries tomatoes ( with mushrooms) but there's nothing there that won't leave you full and happen. Offers vegan and vegetarian options (which I love for weekday veg) but also have meaty dishes too.

Pizza Fusion is a refreshing vegan oasis in Fort Lauderdale (and Weston), and great consolation if you can't be in Berkeley. I recommend the Follow Your Heart vegan cheese (they also have Daiya) and joining their email list for treats like free pizza for your birthday. The ambiance is cheerful, low key, and inviting and the staff are very friendly. I particularly enjoy the Very Vegan and Spinach & Artichoke pizzas. They also have delicious gluten-free crusts!

Its a shame bc the food at this restaraunt is good and the place has so much potential. I have been to many pizza fusions and the food quality is consistent. I claimed a groupon tonight after catching a movie across the street. We called ahead to make sure they would be open after the movie. When we called to ask how late they were open- we were told 10pm. When the movie got out, we headed over at 920pm. The two kids working there rolled their eyes as we walked in and asked us immidiately if we were eating in. When we said we would like to eat in, the young female said they were hoping to close early. The young guy cashier gave her a look like we were ruining their lives. As paying customers i will never go back to that location. I went to the survey listed in the bottom of the reciept and its not even active. I ended up packing up pur food to go and getting out of there. I felt completely stupid giving my money to a restaraunt which i wasnt even welcome to sit and eat. This pizza fusion location should be careful with the staff they hire because they are driving away the customers, which it seems like they are in need of since noone is ever in there anymore.

Left our comfy couch to find a good spot where both my hubby and I could enjoy a really good slice of pizza. (He's severely lactose intolerant; I'm not.)We came across Pizza Fusion and the rest is history! Great pizzas and desserts without the heavy feeling of "WTF I just ate", while dragging yourself to the car with the "Itis". Shout out to Shannon, our waitress! We are definitely coming back, again!

Amazing! My wife has celiacs and we love it because they offer great gluten free options. We were told they have a separate section for preparing all gluten free pizzas. Our server Shannon was the best !!!!

It's been about 2 years since I have been to the Fusion Pizza restaurant. Though their heart is in the right place I find them to be expensive and not really worth the money taste wise. I had a buy '1 specialty pizza and get 1 cheese pizza the same size free. Without the coupon the bill would have been $38 including a $6 tip for the 2 pizzas and 2 sodas which is a bit much. The one change, which I did like, since I was last there is that they now have a server whereas before you had to order at the counter. If you go to their web site---www .fusionpizza .com--you will see what their 'gimmick' is and it is a noble one. Here is some of what they say: "! From our concern for the environment to our concern for your health, Pizza Fusion is not your typical restaurant or business, for that matter. Michael Gordon and Vaughan Lazar, co-founders of Pizza Fusion, stepped outside the boundaries of the traditional business model to create an organization built around integrity. For every decision there is a right way and a wrong way to approach things. Pizza Fusion operates on the belief that social responsibility is just as important as profitability. Where some businesses cut corners for their own benefit, Pizza Fusion goes the extra mile to do the best thing for everyone - the customer, the environment, the employee and the business owner. For instance, instead of using conventional ingredients that are cheaper to purchase and unhealthy for the customer, we pay a little more to use quality organic ingredients that are both healthier and tastier. Another example is our gluten-free offerings, including pizza, brownies and beer, that enable our friends with celiac disease to indulge at Pizza Fusion. Furthermore, our detailed approach to sustainable business, unfortunately, has made us a unique restaurant concept. We didn't go the eco-friendly route to hop on the 'green' bandwagon. We chose to because it was the right thing to do. We find it sad that this approach separates us from other businesses. We believe that if every organization operated at the level of integrity that we strive for, the world would be a better place." We started off with the 'Original Pepperoni" which I found to be too oily and then had the 'Original Cheese" which was good. Both had a (too) thin, crispy crust--which I don't care for but that didn't stop me from eating it. Allen had a diet (of course) root beer soda and I had a diet (of course) cream soda. I just can't get use to being charged $2.50 for a 12 ounce bottle of soda! All in all it was okay and we did want something different but I prefer Big Louie's pizza--thick, juicy and old fashioned Italian food--like pizza should taste like! In all it will probably be another 2 years and a coupon before I go back there! LOL

We were excited to go here because my wife eats gluten free and never enjoys pizza with the rest of the family. She ordered a personal size mushroom and the kids and I shared a large regular crust spinach artichoke and roasted garlic. The staff was friendly, there wsn't a long wait for the pizza and the organic wine was decent and served in a nice glass. If you like really, really thin crust then this is the place for you. I'm talking about a little more than cracker thickness.Wife claims the gluten free crust frozen crust that she buys at Publix is better. The pizzas are oblong and are not that big. The toppings were delicious. An hour after leaving we were all hungry.

When I first learned about Pizza Fusion, I was a bit reluctant. For one, it's environmentally-friendly. So, for example, they're into things like helping the community and supporting non-profit organizations. AWFUL THINGS LIKE THAT. HOW COULD THEY? My friends tend to agree and live off their pizza endeavors at Pizza Hut or Digiornos. OKAY, OKAY... I was kidding about them being awful, and yeah, my friends are still stuck on the 'status-quo'. Anyway, the ingredients here, and at least for the most part, are organic. So, that means no chemicals or pesticides --- you're getting fresh quality gluten-free pizza. For those of us who are uninformed, anything with organic ingredients is usually high-priced, and more than likely lacking in portion-size, so don't pay attention to the "feeds 2-3 people" -- in environmentalist lingo that just means a half a person, literally. Apart from pizzas', they offer delicious sandwiches and salads which, in my opinion, stump all of their pizzas put together. The chicken pesto sandwich is really good - great flavor, quality poultry, etc. The bruschetta salad is up there, as well. Overall, if you go to Pizza Fusion watch out for the pizzas small portion sizes. If you want bigger portions for a smaller price, just go to Whole Foods and you'll get the same exact pizza in the frozen section.

I have tried to be nice. Overall, we like the pizza but, after numerous complaints, they are soooooo stingy with toppings that I've had enough. Maybe a Yelp review will help. Just spent $62 plus delivery tip for three pizzas. (Ordered because my gluten free son is visiting). You need a microscope to find the feta cheese and olives on the Greek pizza. Enough already. I'm done! Owners, are you reading this? Do you even care?

This place is great. I would recommend going to localdines.com to get the $25 gift certificate for $9.99 first. We probably frequent this place once a month since that is the frequency with which you can buy the localdines.com certificate. I have only had the classic pepperoni but its so good I can't bring myself to try anything else. The beet and feta salad is also awesome. We usually end up getting a large pizza, small beet salad, and a couple drinks. This comes out to about $25 covered by our gift certificate and we almost always have pizza left over to take home. They also have a nice selection of unique beers to go along with your meal as well. All around great place with nice people working there. Give it a try!

Absolutely one of the best pizzas you'll ever have and if you're vegan or gluten-free, then this is a great place to check out. It can be slightly pricer than other pizzas in the area, but this place is worth it and special.

came here with sister for a bruschetta pizza and pepperoni and tri colored pepper pizza on multi grain crust. sissy was an immediate fan and loved it, prices a bit steep for what the food is but given the organic eco friendly gluten free ingredients I understand. yay for pizza fusion

I love pizza, but hate cheese (terrified of it, actually), so Pizza Fusion and I get along REALLY well. Their vegan pizza rocks -- I don't even know of another place in FL that does soy cheese. But for the dairy-lovers out there, you'll dig Pizza Fusion too. Their food is actually REALLY tasty + earth friendly -- great combo.

  • Kristin S.

To begin with the whole concept of the place is Eco-friendly, which is awesome. Everything served is organic. Before I became a mostly-vegetarian I loved this place, now that I'm vegetarian and I try to eat as much vegan food as possible I love it even more. Yes, it's expensive. I've heard it referred to as "Extortion Pizza". But it's REALLY GOOD. REALLY, REALLY GOOD. I tricked my mom into eating the vegan, gluten free pizza and she LOVED IT. HA!

  • Frank S.

The main draw of this place for me was the gluten free pizza. I just found out that I have a gluten intolerance at the beginning of this year and hadn't had pizza since then. It was nice to be able to enjoy something I thought was off limits. The pizza here is pretty good. The toppings are plentiful and definitely a cut above your average pizza joint in terms of quality. If you go give their chicken pizza a try. Like the other reviewers I also dig the whole eco-friendly mission that they promote. I had to deduct a few points for the service, which again like the other reviews, I have to agree was pretty slow. I ordered take out and even got there late to pick it up so I wouldn't have to wait around, but alas it took another 20 minutes after that (total of 50 minutes) to get my pizzas. Also, the pizza can be a little pricey, especially for gluten free.

  • Rachel B.

Guiltless pizza. Fresh ingredients, good taste, light on your stomach. I've only ever had delivery (which can take an exorbitant amount of time, so order before you even get hungry) but the pizza is delicious. Everything is made with organic and fresh ingredients. It's pizza you eat without feeling overly full from all the oil and preservatives. The pizza comes in a long rectangle adding another twist to its unique features. Whole grain dough is available and a wide variety of pizza toppings. Pizza Fusion is heavily into the social world so check Twitter or 4Square for deals before you go.

Really good food, service was iffy but It was Sunday before closing. Here is the thing: this is not your average Italian pizza joint, it's a fresh and creative take on pizza: unusual combinations and organic ingredients, whole wheat dough, vegan options. A bit pricey given the portions but the quality is good, it's not greasy fatty delivery pizza.

The best tasting pizza I've had in Fort Lauderdale. The pizza itself was very delicious, fresh and high quality. Their chocolate chip cookies are AMAZING, big chocolate chunks on flaky but crispy perfectly cooked cookie, very high quality and delicious. Im still dreaming about those cookies. The staff is friendly. 3 things made me say hmmmm.... 1. The price was a little high. A pizza with chicken and 2 veggies, 1 order of cookies and 3 soda drinks came to $32. Then we tipped the waitress, so going out for a pizza cost $40. The ingredients were good quality, but still. 2. Their gimmick is a little, uh, gimmicky. They want to save the planet by making you a pizza. Err ok. 3. For drinks they only offer bottled natural drinks, like honest tea. I dont like them. Sorry but when I have pizza I want a diet coke. And If im paying $32 for a pizza and cookies I should be able to have a diet coke. Otherwise the food is high quality and the flavor was awesome. Not sure if I'll go back because of the price. I can get mediocre slice and a coke for $6 everywhere else.

    (4)
  • Steven H.

Their pizza is pretty decent, but more pricey since it's organic. If you get a gluten free pizza it will cost much more than your average pizza, but might be worth it since it's hard to find gluten free pizza.

Came here in May when I was in town for a conference, but I think we ordered the Greek Pizza and BBQ chicken pizza. An avid HH goer, I am very familar with the "flatbread pizza" scene, and Pizza Fusion really held their own. The multigrain crust was really tasty, and they did a pretty good job at taming the salty nature of kalamata olives and feta cheese and not making it overpowering. After I finished the pizza, I did not have that greasy afterfeeling in my stomach that can plague even well executed flatbreads, which I think really speaks to the fresh ingredients. Also, the blueberry cobbler was a sugar rush, but was pretty delicious-this coming from a Maine native aka blueberry snob.

Whoahmygosh! Best. Vegan. Pizza. Ever. I had the pleasure of dining at Pizza Fusion tonight on Day 2 of my Fort Lauderdale veggie-friendly restaurant tour and actually, after tonight, I'm hesitant to try the next two restaurants on my list because Pizza Fusion was so da*n good. As my enthusiastic intro suggests, I had the vegan pizza- their dough and sauce are already vegan, so the only alteration was soy cheese in place of dairy cheese. This was honestly the best vegan cheese experience I've ever had-- my past experiences with soy cheese have entailed weird aftertastes and frightening textures closely resembling halfway melted shards of plastic. Not at Pizza Fusion- this cheese actually resembled dairy cheese so closely that I don't think I'd have noticed it was soy cheese had I not specifically ordered it that way. I ordered the pizza with organic basil and roma tomatoes. The crust with thin, crispy and completely delectable and the sauce was fresh and flavorful! Beyond yummy. And, of course, me and my sweet tooth just *had* to try the vegan brownie. And again, I was completely blown away. So chocolaty, so delicious... so not vegan-tasting (and that's a compliment!). And it's a giant brownie.. and I mean GI-ANT, so definitely sufficient for two people to share. The service was friendly and prompt and the dining area was impeccably clean... with none of the cheesy soft rock that seems oddly pervasive in veggie-friendly restaurants as I've noted in past reviews. I'm also utterly impressed by their commitment to being environmentally friendly-- their focus on sustainability is truly commendable. Check out their website for a list of all the things they have done/are doing to make sure their business is as green as possible. I can truly say that when at last my stint of business travel in Fort Lauderdale is over, this is one place I will miss. We definitely need a franchise in AZ! So yes... 5 stars! Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.

Hip hip hooray for gluten free pizza. Hooray for whole wheat crust. Hooray for their Hawaiian pizza, which was crispy, tasty pizza. Boo on their slow delivery, which was near an hour of waiting. Boo on their pizza price. $20 ouch, sorry poor wallet for hurting you. If someone bought it for me, I would be white on rice for this place, otherwise I think I am not eating here anytime soon.

Pizza Fusion kept me alive for two weeks, stranded amongst the blue hairs and douchebags of Florida. This was quite possibly the best vegan pizza I've ever tasted. Thin crust with soy cheese, basil, mushrooms and lots of garlic. I didn't stray from this formula give or take tomatoes and sun dried tomatoes on a few occasions. The staff is super friendly, and the next best thing to a grumpy italian dude.

Really want to like this place, but don't. Why? 1. We've ordered 3 times for delivery and each time delivery was quoted at 90 min and took at least that long if not longer. Seems like a long time to wait for a pizza. Worst part of it though? Even if you happily wait the 90 min... 2. The pizza arrives cold. Not lukewarm, but cold. I order the vegan pizza and I picked it up once and it was pretty good. Cold, however, it's not appetizing at all. 3. Portions really are small. One large vegan pizza is well over $20 with delivery and I could eat almost the whole thing by myself, something I would never attempt with most restaurants' large pizzas. All in all, this Pizza Fusion has been incredibly disappointing.

This place is great! I took the whole family there for dinner and we loved the thin crust pizzas with organic whole wheat crust! Even super-picky Dad from Canarsie was impressed. Great to know they will have an organic pizzeria to enjoy after I leave (it's so hard to get them to make better choices, but this is a no-brainer!) A little weird to have to order at the register and then have them bring it to you anyways, but the dining room was clean and not too crowded (though it's rather small). Great organic beer and wine selection, too, and the vegan gluten-free brownies were moist and delicious! Really enjoyed the vegan pizza with Follow-Your-Heart cheeze, and the plain cheese with pepperoni was great. Really good sauce, not too sweet. Check out their dinner special: $20 for an extra large pie and fresh salad. For the five of us, we got another large pie and it was perfect!

My new spot for soy-cheese pizza. Great customer service, best of all price is just right. Try the vegan homemade brownies.

I used to be a huge fan. Even met the founders and contemplated opening one. Recently, something has changed and the quality of food and care in cooking has diminished. Moving on to other places. I do commend them for the idea and they have added some great beer selections to their location. The service can be either really good or really bad which I hate.

Could you ask for better food and better service??? no, you can't. This place is amazing. So many vegan/vegetarian options to choose from! I come here every chance I get. Also, I love their wines and beverages! One of a kind! Recommend this to everyone!

I absolutely love Pizza Fusion. Yes, it is a tad on the pricey side, but you are paying for fresh, organic ingredients. I have only ever been to the one in Fort Lauderdale, but the staff there is super friendly. We did however, once get yelled at for bringing in an outside beverage because we wanted real soda... oops! Deliver is always faster than I think it will be. The organic pear and gorgonzola pizza is a-maz-zing.

After seeing a coupon on southfloridadines.com , my boyfriend (who is a huge pizza fan) and I decided to give the place a shot. When we got there, there was only one other diner in the restaurant. Our server, Dianne D, had been outside and warmly greeted us, that was the extent of our pleasant experience. The restaurant was cold, not chilly, but cold. Three more tables of people came in to eat while we were deciding what we wanted, which much have thrown her off. I ordered the greek pizza no olives added chicken, he ordered the big kahuna no onions with chicken. Dianne repeated no onion, add chicken to that one too?.... That is not how the pizza came out. Onions, no chicken. Then it took 5 minutes to get her attention that it was wrong. She took his back to the kitchen and lied to the cooks, saying he was allergic and wanted to add chicken to this one. Being a server myself for many years, that is extremely disrespectful, as is asking if I had originally ordered chicken on mine too. We felt as though she wasn't listening to us. My water was empty before I had finished my pizza. We ordered cookies, which were advertised "like mom used to make" this is true, as my mom always burnt hers too. He and I both walked out with stomach aches and not nearly full. Between the food and the service, we won't be returning. Good concept. Horrible execution

I emailed my review (not labeled as a review, but just a general complaint) to Pizza Fusion. Their general manager apologized and invited me back with a free pizza, appitizer and beverage. The BBQ chicken pizza with red onions was awesome. I would definitely recommend it! It might be a little sweet for some people, but I thought it was great. I tried to get the wings, which I was not happy with on an earlier visit, to see if they had improved. They were no longer offered, along with the "trial menu" that they were on. I would have liked to try the short ribs, too, but oh well, probably wouldn't have liked them either. The goat cheese and beet salad was ok, but hey, like i said before, should have just stuck with what they do best. I do like the Honest T's that are offered. So far all the flavors are delicious.

Met local friends there last night and was very pleased. Their "basic" salad was gigantic and filled with shaved fennel and fresh Basil: delicious. I'm not one for soy and tapioca cheese but their vegan pizza was also excellent with thin crust and caramalized onions. The artichoke appetizer was garlicky and tasty. Very pleased all around.

The pizza is overpriced but tasty. However, the service is awful. Our server Sarah had no service skills whatsoever. I asked for lemons 3 times before she brought them. She plopped down our appetizer and started walking away without giving us eating utensils, and we practically had to beg her to take our order. Not acceptable anywhere but especially upsetting when the pizzas are ridiculously overpriced.

There is not even a menu available on line. When I read the reviews with delivery costs and $20 for a pizza. 60-90 minutes for delivery which I have to pay for! It sums up to another company that just wants to sell franchises and they will fail in the end. It's always about service, quality of food and timely deliveries in the pizza business. If a restaurant fails in just one of the elements.....think bankruptcy.

Delivery is a joke!!! 45 mins =more then 90! Call at one hour juncture was met w/statement "I am sorry, driver is getting in car right now for your delivery..." Manager speaks w/ Forked Tongue!! 2nd time this issue has occurred: last fall football season and last week Celtic/Heat...basketball game. No mas...lost a customer! drj

I don't even live in FL but felt compelled to review this place. The name and strip-mall location suggest that this is your typical pizza joint. It's not. They do have pizza, but I can't comment on it since we didn't order any. I ordered a roasted beet salad and flatbread with dips. I didn't expect much, considering this was what I thought was a pizza joint. To say I was pleasantly surprised was an understatement. Both the salad and flatbread starter were fantastic, and even beautifully served and really nicely priced. To find this place after several days of really mediocre, overpriced food in Miami and Fort Lauderdale was a godsend. I strongly suggest they come up with a broader name that encompasses all the food they offer, and that they expand to the SF Bay Area in California.

Basically this place is awesome, very tasty, thin crust pizza (all I have tried so far). Will def continue to come back to try more items on the menu.

Good pizza is hard to find, healthy pizza is even harder. Hidden away in the plaza on the north side of Sunrise near US1 is the best pizza in Fort Lauderdale. This isn't greasy, unhealthy, giant slices pizza, its good balanced pizza. The restaurant has a nice modern feel and is one of the few green-minded franchises in the country! The crust is just right, it's not wafer thin but it's not chewy thick either, we tried the Big Kahuna recently but on the gluten free crust and with soy cheese. If you have a glucose and/or lactose intolerance then this is your place! The slices are smaller than your typical pizza but three slices fills you up! It's a great place to enjoy a great pizza where the organic ingredients are good and the slices don't have to be the size of your face!

I did think this was an awesome gluten free pizza, until I had Fresh Brothers in Coconut Creek. Sorry, Pizza Fusion! Fresh Brothers has a thicker, crispier crust and more flavorful sauce :D Pizza Fusion does have a good gluten free pizza, but the crust is a bit thin, and it is more expensive.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday dinner, knowing that I am a fan of organic, healthy eats. We loved everything about it; from the perfectly chewy whole wheat crust and creative toppings (we liked the Greek and bruschetta) to the chill atmosphere and friendly service. My glass of organic red wine was generously poured and I thought the prices were completely fair in relation to the quantity and quality of the product. I'm looking forward to returning when they open the new dining room adjacent to the current dine-in space - which is somewhat small.

First of all I was really excited to go and try this place. I picked up the menu at their locations and all the items seemed really delicious. My boyfriend and I visited them for lunch. The waiter was extremely sweet and kind which made it pleasant. Unfortunately the food was not up to par to what I imagined. We order the large Big Kahuna and when it came to the table we were surprised in how small the pizza was. The size was about two New York slices put together. Pretty small and wafer thin It was really disappointing because it cost $19 bucks and on the menu it said it serves 2 to 3 people which it doesn't at all. Honestly I could eaten the entire pizza and not feel stuffed. If me and my boyfriend had done that it would have been an almost $40 lunch meal for PIZZA! Apart from the size of the pizza the taste was barely okay. It was supposed to have bacon and pineapple and they were extremely stingy with both ingredients. Its too bad that the charge so much and deliver so little.

The place is small. Staff is really young, but very friendly. The place closes around 9 weekdays night, which seems a bit early. The stuffed mushroom app is really good. It's mushrooms stuff with sausage topped with cheese. about 6 bucks. The personal size founders pie is about 4 square slices, It was reall good. about 9 dollars. I would def eat ther again. I also tried various craft beers they ran about 5 or 6 bucks.

The free organic wine with an xl pizza. They don't have this special anymore. This special is what caught my attention bringing me to the shop. The pizza was great, or I was really hungry. I had a multi-grained crust half veggie and half something with chicken. Enjoyed the pizza very much. Slightly bummed about the end of the bottle of wine special. A pizza for a special occasion as its a little pricey for the average Joe Daily Consumer.

Not a place for takeout or delivery.. no way no how. I am organic all the way and looked forward to becoming a regular patron. Unfortunately the service is so poor that I will never eat there again. Both times that I opted to not eat in the restaurant the food took over 1 hour and a quarter. First instance after waiting 1.25 hour I called asking for my delivery and they said that the food wasn't ready yet. Chose to pick it up and it still wasn't ready when I arrived (an hour and a half after I had originally placed the order). Second time, I confirmed with the person on the phone at least 3 times that the food would be ready in 50 mins. Went to pick it up and had to wait another 20 mins and then they gave me the wrong order on top of it. Additionally they became obstinate with me because I was a bit grumbly after having now 2 bad experiences with these guys. Too bad.

My wife & I have been to at least 3 or 4 PF in brow county & this one every time we come is excellent. For some reason their pizza tastes better than all the others in brow county. The inky down fall is the rating space. It's a lil difficult to eat comfortably when packed if u r with more than 2. Outside of that best PF in town in my opinion!

We really used to be big fans of pizza fusion. I even looked at buying a franchise. The last time we ordered it about 6 months ago, it was a disaster. Delivery took forever and we got the wrong things ice cold. We tried again last night. They said it would be an hour, but it was more like an hour and twenty minutes. We got the right things, but the pizza was ice cold. That was the last time for us.

this place is really all about Gluten-Free pizza and organic products. the GF pizza ($5 surcharge for the large, can't get it in the XL) is the best we've had. almost too good to be true. they say they place the GF pizzas on the top rack of the oven exclusively to keep them GF. atmosphere? it's a somewhat nicer-than-average pizza joint. very few tables. the regular crust pizza is decent--not the best, but above average. a little heavy on that corn-meal stuff many places use on the bottom of pizzas to keep them from sticking. almost didn't come here due to the other reviews about the small portions. the pizza is thin-crust, but quite sizable. i think the XL cheese was $14 or $16 (sorry can't recall), but they have some really good specials. we're here on vacation and liked it so much, we're planning on another visit this week. family deal on regular crust XL pizza with salad and drinks for 4 is $20. will it feed 4? depends on the eaters. will work well for my crew.

My wife and I went here last night for the first time. We had seen them listed on Groupon a while ago and thought they were quite interesting, so we bought a Groupon for them. We ordered the Sausage and Tri-color pepper pizza on the whole wheat crust, and it was truely delicious. We also tried the deep dish blueberry cobler, and that was not quite as good. First of all, it took about 15-20 minutes after ordering for it to come to the table. I had specifically told the person behind the counter we had a show to go to. I can understand if the pie was served warm, but it wasn't. What exactly took so long? Also, the pie itself was not quite as advertised. It was supposed to be "bursting" with blueberries. Instead, there was basically a blueberry paste underneath some crumb topping. Also, my wife complained for the rest of the night that it gave her an unpleasant aftertaste. My wife and I both agreed that the pizza was great, and we would go back there, and even possibly try other entre or appetizer dishes, but we will not be ordering dessert there. With the basic food seemingly so good, they should have desserts with a similar high quality or else not have it on the menu.

We had an excellent time here last night. We were able to save $15 off our total order with a fabulous coupon that was mailed in "clipper magazine." My Husband and I got the organic family deal which included a LARGE artistic-looking romaine salad with curled carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, and balsamic dressing. The presentation was lovely. Next came our extra large pizza. It was really delightful. I liked the quality of the cheese and sauce. The crust was on the thin side, crispy on the outside, and a bit chewy on the inside. It was perfect. Like other reviewers, I didn't feel too guilty after eating this pizza--it's not like any "Joe Schmoe's greasy Italian pizza" The deal also came with your choice of teas or natural sodas which were also delicious. Every employee was very polite and accomodating. I especially appreciated that they are a business who cares. They donate to a lot of good causes, and are very into being "green"-even down to the napkins on the table. They also seem to be very accomodating to vegans, and people with certain dietary restrictions. We will definitely come here again, and i'm sorry it took so long for us to try it!

Charged my card, called me that they were out of the ingredients I asked for. So I changed my order. They showed up with only half of my food. The other half never showed. The delivery driver promised to bring it back immediately. It never happened. I got scammed by this place. I don't think it's legit...
